Welcome to
Bright Young Minds Tutoring

Hi, I’m Shonai Young – a passionate and experienced primary school teacher and proud Australian Defence Force partner. With over 12 years of teaching experience across different schools and states, I’ve seen firsthand how personalised support can make a world of difference in a child’s learning journey.

That’s why I started Bright Young Minds – a tutoring business designed to help children thrive.

My goal is not just to improve academic results, but to build each child’s confidence and spark a genuine love of learning in a warm, supportive environment.

Shonai Young – primary school tutor and founder of Bright Young Minds, based in Red Hill, Canberra

My Approach

At Bright Young Minds, I believe every child learns differently – and that’s something to celebrate. I take the time to understand each child’s unique strengths, challenges, and learning style, so I can tailor each session to meet their individual needs.

My tutoring is grounded in encouragement, connection, and clear goals. I create a calm and positive space where children feel supported to take risks, ask questions, and grow – both academically and in their confidence.
